Ozone systems for Bacteria Control
Ozone, a colorless gas has been used for years to control bacteria and mold in water. Now, this same technology is available to the cutting fluid industry.
The PR1300 is the size of a small briefcase and is plugged into a 110V electrical outlet. A self contained air compressor in the PR1300 pushes air over an ultraviolet light. The ultraviolet light turns the air into ozone or O3. The ozone travels through a small plastic tube to an air dispersion stone which is dropped into your coolant sump. The ozone or active air disperses through the coolant oxidizing bacteria and mold. The ozone is used up at point of contact. The Ozone instantly oxidizes any organic material that it comes in contact with and then returns to its original form: oxygen. The result of this process is an oxygen rich environment which is fatal to odor forming bacteria while not causing damage to the coolant itself. A healthy environment is achieved.
